PART 1: PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM
We want to honor President Trump for bringing our nation into alignment with Israel; calling to the covenant blessing. The year of 2018 began with the recent recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and that the United States will move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. This has been received with both praise and hostilities; however, anointed prayer covering has kept the hostilities to a minimum and we want to pray for peace to continue to be extended over Israel, as it is written. Please continue to pray over the current events taking place throughout this year. For specific and targeted information, you are invited to refer to the CHPP Daily Brief at the following website. Please copy and paste into your internet browser: .
For detailed information regarding President Trump’s declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and our impending embassy move, please look at this link from the CHPP Daily Brief as well.

We must keep Israel and the peace of Jerusalem in our prayer covering, because this is what we have been asked to do in Psalm 122: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces.’ For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, ‘Peace be within you.’ Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek your good.”
One effective way to offer prayer over Israel is to use Psalms 120 to 134, which are called “Songs of Ascents”. They seem to be something of a mystery regarding their actual purpose; however, even a cursory reading will show that they honor and lift up the name of our God and his land of Zion. Feel free to read and pray from these Psalms as you remember the momentous events taking place in our day in the “land given as a heritage to Israel His people.” (Ps. 135:12)
In addition, for specific, time sensitive prayer requests with scriptures to decree for each one please go to the website for Bridges for Peace (BFP) at:
(Please note: prayers appear when you scroll down the page a bit. BFP lists all ten headlines first: news, and prayer points are then listed below each headline. Thank you).
You are also invited to look at a website hosted by Mike Evans of the Jerusalem Prayer Team, which has a great deal of relevant and current information so you may stay wise about the activities regarding Israel. This site may be found at: http://
“Behold, bless the Lord, All you servants of the Lord, Who by night stand in the house of the Lord! Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, And bless the Lord. The Lord who made heaven and earth Bless you from Zion!” (Psalm 134)
PART 2: PRAYING FOR THE SEVEN MOUNTAINS OF OUR CULTURE
We are blessed to align our intercession, day by day, with that of the National Day of Prayer Task Force. Please follow the guideline and links below in order to lift up the seven centers of influence, with scriptural decrees and prayer before the Throne of Grace on behalf of our nation. Thank you!
Sunday: Pray for our families
Monday: Pray for our military
Tuesday: Pray for our government
Wednesday: Pray for our churches
Thursday: Pray for our schools
Friday: Pray for our media
Saturday: Pray for our businesses
PART 3: PROTECTION FROM ATTACKS AGAINST OUR NATION, BOTH DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN
We would like to focus our attention on the Islamic community and its impact upon our nation in this hour and pray for the salvation of Muslims in America.
The Lord has sent to you the prophets, His servants . . . [who] said, ‘Repent now every one of his evil way and his evil doings, and dwell in the land that Jehovah has given to you and your fathers forever and ever.” (Jeremiah 25:4-5)
“Dear God of all Creation; Lord of Heaven and Earth, You are the Author and Finisher of All Things – and we bring the Islamic people, fashioned with Your own hands, before Your throne that they may hear the songs of heaven instead of the seduction of man/religion. These people have a heart to be faithful and worship – as they understand it. They do it out of fear and hope; but once they meet You they do it out of love and unmatched zeal. Please keep growing Your Kingdom with the folks of this faith and others who don’t yet know You. Send Your laborers into the harvest and continue to develop resources to provide for the spread of Your Great and Wonderful Good News! In Your Holy name we pray. Amen.”
Let us also focus our attention on international threats that
require the intervention of the Spirit of God.
“Then I will give them a new heart to know Me, that I am the King of all Nations; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.” (Jeremiah 24:7)
Mighty God – our nation has been blessed in so many ways because of Your covering over us. Consequently, there are other nations that believe they can rip away from us our power and wealth through military means. We know that what we have has come from You, because of the dedication of this land to You by our forefathers who gave their lives for the privilege of freedom. We humbly ask you now to continue to protect and defend this nation. We ask You to grant our Department of Defense and all military people unusual wisdom and restraint whenever there is a time of heightened alert for attacks from other countries. We also bring our President, his advisors and Congress to the courtroom of heaven and ask that they receive Your Godly adjudication and understanding of all challenges. We praise and thank you that we can come boldly to You and make our requests known. In Jesus’ Holy Name. Amen.
Along with these two prayer decrees, please include the following points as well:
n All sleeper cells exposed and brought down, including: isis, al qaeda, hezbollah, hamas, etc. (Mark 4:22)
n A stop and exposure to every country that seeks to attack us, including secondarily in overseas locations.
n Close borders in the Spirit from enemy infiltration
n Protection of all transportation hubs; airlines; shipping; trains; buses, vehicles, including schools (Psalm 91)
n Protection from the following attacks: EMP/Nuclear/cybersecurity/biochemical (Psalm 91)
n Immigration policy recognizing LEGAL IMMIGRANTS ONLY
n If there are traitors embedded anywhere in our government – at any level – who do not work for the
blessing of our nation but for its destruction . . . pray these be found out and relieved of their duties,
according to Constitutional and state laws. (Mark 4:22)
PART 4: PRAYING FOR THE PERSECUTED CHURCH
And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ (Matthew 25:40)
As we continue to move into these perilous times, satan is now waging an all-out war at the global level to shut down the voice of God’s people from releasing the Gospel and winning lost souls to Christ. But in the middle of this battle, there is still good news: ministries like Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) are working continually to bring news of persecuted saints to the Body of Christ, so that we can pray and ask our Lord to “set the captives free.”
We particularly want to mention North Korea for prayer because that nation is under a cruel dictator who sets himself up as God (as his father and grandfather have done since WWII). At one point this was a powerful Christian nation and the great grandmother of this family was a praying woman. You can find information easily on the internet pointing out the cruelties done to the people and especially to the Christians when they are found.
Please also keep your eyes on the news to see what things are taking place in our own United States which are intended to restrict and diminish the rights and freedoms of believers. This could be against students from the youngest to the oldest; service-providers; your neighbor or anyone who lives by their beliefs.
O Lion of Judah, keep us wise and filled with the Spirit of God so that we may read between the lines of media. Let us know that we need to stand in the gap and intercede when we see read a news article about a Christian cake-baker who has been stopped from helping the Salvation Army at Christmas, for example. Jesus, let us have your heart for Your persecuted Bride, and give us the wisdom to know how to pray – for healing, warmth, food/water, comfort, remembrance of Scriptures, the presence of God for these persecuted ones. This is a cruel evil that we cannot comprehend; so we come boldly before the throne of grace, making our requests known so that our brothers and sisters may receive the help they need in time of troubles. (Hebrews 4:16)
We encourage you also to visit the website for Voice of the Martyrs to help know how to pray for the persecuted church. Each day, VOM posts news of several saints who are suffering overseas, a guide to prayer for each one, and a verse to decree from the Word of God. May God richly bless you as, once again, you take the time during the night to pray for more of “the least of these . . .”

PART 5: PRAYING FOR THE HARVEST
Remember what this harvest is really all about: all of us reaching out to others to share Christ everywhere.
Luke 9:1-2 “Then He . . . gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.”
Matthew 10:7-8 “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
Luke 24:47 “and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations (people, tribes, tongues). . .”

PART 6: PRAYING FOR LABORERS
Remembering those who labor on the foreign mission fields for provisions, strength, covering.
"The harvest is rich but the laborers are few, so ask the Lord of the harvest to send laborers to do his harvesting." Luke 10:2 (NJB)
“. . . if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:18
“How then shall they call on Him in whom they havea not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have anot heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!’ . . . So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” Romans 10:14, 15, 17

Pray for the Awakening of the Bride of Christ
In Matthew 25 we read of the ten virgins. Five of those were not ready when the Bridegroom came to get them. We need to pray that the Bride is awake and to be "awake" means to be ready, diligent, alert to the times. Father, let your Bride be ready for everything that comes her way. You have given us Your wisdom, Your Word, Your Heart. Let us show ourselves approved (2 Peter 1:10) and prepared and that only comes through practice. Let your church stop gagging on gnats and swallowing camels (Matthew 23:24 and be the sons and daughters of both Issachar (1 Chronicles 12:32) and the Bereans (Acts 17:11) recognizing the signs and times we are in through studying the word and knowing the Spirit of God.
CONCLUSION: PERSONAL WORSHIP, THE LORD’S PRAYER AND THE DOXOLOGY
“The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens” (Prov. 3: 19).
We encourage you to enter into your own worship, letting your own new song arise to the heavens.
“Sing to Him a new song; Play
skillfully with a shout of joy.” Psalm
“I will sing a new song to You, O God; On a harp of ten strings I will sing praises to You.” Psalm 144:9
May our Lord now bless you for your faithfulness on this Watch. Offer Thanksgiving to our Father and seal your intercession under His shed blood. Command the day to line up with His answers to these prayers and His perfect will and timing. Amen.
Close the Watch by praying the Lord’s prayer together--
