Presidential Prayer Watch Prayer Update
‘The Scapegoat Strategy’
“…lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices” (II Cor 2:11).
Our continuing to pray God’s word as a strategy in our ongoing intercession for the president will always be appropriate because by doing so we are coming into agreement declaring God’s will and heaven’s purpose on earth. As one great saint of old once said, “When the Scriptures speak God speaks”. In other words, ‘Thus says the Lord’ means thus says the Lord regardless of who might disagree.
Yet along with praying the word it is vital we hear prophetically regarding any change or shift in strategy, both in reference to ours or Satan’s. Dreams and visions, while not on the same level as God’s word, will be invaluable tools in the spiritual battles we will face from now unto the end of the age. Acts 2:17-23 confirms this.
Prior to his boldly declaring, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us to triumph in Christ” Paul reminds the church at Corinth, “lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices”. One definition of the word translated ignorant means to ignore. If the church failed to recognize and do something to counter Satan’s devices, they could lose the advantage in the war against spiritual darkness.
Recently Dr. Francis Myles, a pastor from Zambia who now lives and pastors a church in Arizona, appeared on the Jim Bakker show. During the interview Myles shared about an open vision regarding a new strategy of intercession for the president. I included the seven minute forty-four second video below. I feel his word is something we should include in our intercession because it appears to expose a demonic device for defeating President Trump in 2020. Unless of course the church rises up and counters this plan through our own strategic intercession designed to lead us to triumph in Christ.
I’ll let you watch it for yourself, but in summary he had a vision of a goat covered with blood. Yet when he looked into the goat’s eyes he saw innocence. The goat represented a scapegoat strategy where the never-Trumper republicans and the radical progressive left would seek to place blame upon the president for something that caused blood to be shed in America. Their coup against the president has for the most part, at least to this point, failed. Now they will take a more desperate and aggressive approach with no concern as to what their actions might do to America.
The devil using a device like this should not surprise us in the least as this has been a strategy from hell on numerous occasions throughout history.
For example in 64 AD, Emperor Nero burned the city of Rome and then blamed the Christians making them the scapegoat. This opened the door to a horrific period of persecution against the church.
The strategy to overcome such a plan is that anytime something like this happens we the church must apply a restraining order prohibiting the president from bearing the guilt and taking the blame in the eyes of the American people. We pray the real culprit be exposed and revealed for all to see.
We all pray nothing like this happens, at least no more than what has already been. But the left and those behind the failed but ongoing coup against the president will stop at nothing to remove and defeat him. They are on the run but will do anything they think will work. We must remember that as part of their mindset is the belief that the end always justifies the means. As taught by Saul Alinsky, they always do what they openly blame their enemies (us) of doing while they themselves are doing it. This is a strategy and demonic device that unfortunately often works if not countered.
I encourage each of us to remember this strategy and should the occasion arise again, we must apply a restraining order releasing the president from becoming the scapegoat. Dr. Myles explains what he was shown very well in the video.
In addition let’s really press in and pray for the president in regards to his decision on whether or not to go to war with Iran. It’s obvious the president does not want to go to war. But there are many around him who do. Iran bearing the guilt of the bombing of the Saudi oil fields could certainly be part of a scapegoat strategy designed to plunge America into war. This has been a practice of the devil and his followers for centuries.
We must not forget that regardless of the influence of the spirit of antichrist currently operating in the world, and make no mistake about it, this is exactly what is behind the organized opposition against the president and this nation, still the promise remains, “He who is in you (us) is greater than he who is in the world” (I Jn 4:4). And of course, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us to triumph in Christ”!
Thanks again for keeping your hand on the plow in prayer! The battles in front of us will be greater than those behind us. But so will God’s grace!
Together in His Triumph,
